After the Wedding
So, you've returned from your honeymoon, rested and relaxed, your wedding day rapidly becoming a distant memory. But it's not quite over yet - there's still plenty to do after the big day.
First of all, there's the thank you letters to write to all those people kind enough to buy you both a present, and now's the time to make sure that you've stored your dress, flowers and cake correctly if you want to keep them for the years to come.
There are some legal issue that you might want to consider too. If you've changed your name, you will need to inform the relevant authorities, and now that you're embarking on your new life together, you should both think about making a will.
Contrary to popular opinion, a wedding isn't the end of anything but a new start, and everything new involves changes and adjustments. The first few months after marriage are a time of discovery and revelation as you get to know each other and sort out your priorities.
Whatever your plans, we wish you good luck for your future together and may your married life be long and happy!
