Fireworks

Fireworks are becoming very popular for weddings, from a single rocket launched into the air as the couple leave the reception, to a full display coordinated with music - professional firework companies can arrange for displays to suit all budgets.

However, you must consider if anyone might be disturbed by them, such as local farmers who will be concerned about their livestock to elderly neighbours woken from their sleep. Make sure you consult anyone concerned in advance.

Children

If there will be a large number of children at your wedding, you may consider providing some entertainment to keep them amused throughout the day.

This could simply be a matter of providing a table in the corner of the room or marquee, stocked with colouring books, games and some (quiet) toys. However, you may also consider hiring a children's entertainer or even a bouncy castle. Bear in mind that it won't just be the under-fives that end up enjoying that entertainment!

Other Types

There are plenty of other forms of entertainment available for your reception, such as magicians, comedians, wandering caricaturists, or palm readers. Choose whatever you think your guests will enjoy, and will fit within the theme of your wedding.
