The Stag Night Southend-on-Sea

The best man will usually organise the stag night, but he'll probably do this in consultation with the groom, to make sure that he's planning the right sort of event, and inviting the people the groom wants to attend.

The Stag Night

The best man will usually organise the stag night, but he'll probably do this in consultation with the groom, to make sure that he's planning the right sort of event, and inviting the people the groom wants to attend.

The party should take place well before the wedding, either the weekend, or two weekends before, and it is often a good idea to arrange to have it at the same time as the hen night.

A decision should be made on the type of do it will be - a night out, or a weekend away? The best man should make any bookings and arrange payment - the groom should not have to pay for anything, so costs should be shared between everyone attending.

Stag nights are in no way restricted to an evening down the pub these days, and can range anywhere from meals out and clubbing to weekends skiing in France or racing at Brands Hatch.

Just one final note - please do look after the groom - Funny as it may seem at the time, shaving off his eyebrows or leaving him stranded, naked, 300 miles away from home, really isn't a good idea, and won't endear you to the bride (or the groom) afterwards.
